Friends of the Library is currently accepting donations on Fridays by appointment only until March 2026.
To schedule an appointment, please call 419.259.5455.
We can accept:
- Clean, readable books
- Children’s books
- Cookbooks
- Coffee table books
- Health, career, diet, collectibles, and self-help books (five years or newer)
- Text, computer, and business-related books (five years or newer)
- Magazines (dated within the past year)
- Videos, CDs, and DVDs in playable condition
We cannot accept:
- Damaged, torn, or moldy books
- Encyclopedias older than five years
- National Geographic magazines
- Reader’s Digest condensed books
- Text, computer, or business-related books older than five years
Please note: donated materials can be packaged in bags, boxes, or totes. However, if your donation is in a tote, we cannot immediately empty the tote for return.
